The Rules

Please make sure all of your party have read and understood these few and very simple rules,

as no exceptions will be made.

If you have any questions regarding anything we have not covered here

please don't hesitate to contact us.

Maximum of 3 rods per angler.

Unhooking mats and slings are supplied and must be used at all times.

While fish are out of the water, they must be kept wet at all times, and treated with the utmost care. If you catch what you think is an injured or unhealthy fish please retain the fish and alert myself. 

You must also have a bottle of carp antiseptic.

Fish are to be returned to the water as soon as is possible.

The use of Carp sacks is strictly forbidden.

Self prepared particle is not allowed on site, no exceptions will be made. The use of particle such as dynamite baits is allowed, we do have our own particle available on site at very competitive rates.

Only our own frozen house bait is allowed to be used. Evidently you can still use your favourite pop up etc.

Plastic Baits are now banned, this includes anything in the form of bait (corn, maggots, tigernuts etc.) No exceptions will be made.

Rubbish must be disposed of in the correct bins.

Glass beer bottles are now banned on site. Cans only.

Cars are to be parked in the car parking areas at all times, and cars are not to be driven around the lake.

No boats except bait boats are allowed on the lake.

We have now implemented the new hit and run system by PB Products, Rig checks will be carried out during the week and if any other type of system or leader is being used an instant ban will occur with no exceptions being made.

Tubing is no longer allowed.

No Fires.

For those using the Utopia Lodge, it must be vacated by 10.00am on your departure date. It would be appreciated if you could leave it in the same condition as you found it on arrival.

Please do not arrive before 11am as you will not be allowed to enter the property until this time.

As our fishing holidays start from 12.00 noon Saturday, you must have vacated your swim by 10.00 o'clock.

Rods are NOT to be left unattended at anytime, if you have to leave your swim you must reel in.
